1st article. Called Contest. The Foundation Directdoo summons all the biggest 18-year-old, Argentine or naturalized, and foreign plastic artists with legal residence in the country, to inform of the Award National Lounge of Painting 2008. They will not be able to take part of this call, the persons linked with the jury and who are in dependency relation and/or hired by the Foundation, the Bank of the Nation Argentina and the entities of the Group Banco Nación.

2nd article. Requisites for the presentation of the works. The applicants will have to present a folder size A4, with photos in role of 18 x 24 cm, of 3 (three) works which date of achievement cannot be previous to 2006. To the back of the photos they will have to specify title of the work. This one will have to keep absolute coincidence with the recorded one in the card of inscription, where they will consist, also, measured, year of achievement and skill of execution. The folders will include also, a résumé of 20 lines as maximum. The applicants will deliver the folder accompanied by the card of inscription properly completed and signed, to that there will be enclosed photocopy of the document of identity. The recorded information will have affidavit character. There will not be accepted folders that do not assemble any of the requisites established in this Regulation. As soon as the Contest was finished, the folders that have not been selected will be able to be withdrawn from the head office of the Foundation by his authors. The folders there will have to be presented in the head office of the Foundation Directdoo, Bartolomé Mitre 326, 4 ° apartment, place 400, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, until July 31, 2008. Those folders which date of reception is later to July 31, will not be accepted. In case of sending the folder by mail, it will take as a delivery date, which appears in the postal stamp. If it appears personally, it will be the recorded one in on as date of reception on the part of the Foundation Directdoo.

3rd article. Juries of Selection and Premiación. The Jury of Selection will be integrated by 5 (five) members, namely: Rosa Aiello, Ann Maria Battistozzi, Sonia Cortez, Rosa Faccaro and Nicolás Menza. The same ones will realize the evaluation of the folders from August 11 and will determine the works that will be presented to the Jury of Premiación. Carried out the selection, there will be prepared a record signed by his members and supervised by the authorities of the Foundation Directdoo. The Jury of Premiación will be integrated by 5 (five) members, namely: Maria Teresa Constantín, Juan Doffo, Jorge Figueroa, Fabián Lebenglik and Rosa Maria Ravera. The Jury of Premiación will initiate his activity on September 23. The acceptance will be ruled by most of votes. He will be able to declare the awards desert, being his report of definitive and inappealable character. Of the performances of the Jury there will be worked a record signed by his members and supervised by the authorities of the Foundation Directdoo. Once signed by his members, the decisions that in the same one are recorded will be irrecurribles. If for force majeure reasons, any member of the Jury of Selection or of Premiación could not be present, the Foundation Directdoo reserves the right to designate a stand-in or to arrange the continuity of the task with the members of the Jury that are present in this moment. The guardianship of the Lounge will be in charge of the Dra. Mónica Guariglio, vowel of the Foundation Directdoo. The participants of the contest will not be able to object or reject the members of the Juries of Selection and of Premiación.

4th article. Requisites for the selection of the works. There will be admitted works understood in all the expressions inside the field of the painting, anyone be his skill. The works will have to be original and unpublished. Only one will be selected it acts for plastic artist. They will not be admitted: a) Works that overcome 1,40 m in his horizontal side and 2,00 m in the vertical one, and since 0,80 will accept minimal measurement x 1,00 m respectively. b) anonymous Works and copies. c) Works of deceased artists. d) artists' Works that had obtained the first award in previous contests of the National Lounge of Painting Foundation Directdoo.

5th article. Reception of the chosen works. Once the Jury of Selection has been sent, between the 20th to August 29, the Foundation Directdoo will communicate to the elected participants what is the chosen work. The chosen works will have to be sent before September 15, 2008 to the Foundation Directdoo, in his head office or of there corresponded the place that to the effect decides. The works will have to be in conditions to be exhibited and to have in his reverse, the following information: name of the author, title, measurements, year of achievement, skill of execution and orientation. All the works will have to be delivered correctly packed and protected. There will not be accepted works that at the moment of his presentation are damaged. The Foundation Directdoo will assume the cost of the transfer of the chosen works, which authors reside to more than 100 km from the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

6th article. Awards. The following awards are established: The first Award Acquisition: $30.000.-(thirty thousand weight), medal and diploma. Segundo Premio Adquisición: $20.000.-(twenty thousand weight), medal and diploma. Third Award Acquisition: $15.000.-(fifteen thousand weight), medal and diploma. The fourth Award Acquisition: 5 (five) awards of $10.000.-(ten thousand weight) each one, medal and diploma. 5 (five) Honorific Mentions of the Jury: medal and diploma. The elected participants will receive a diploma and a copy of the catalog, in which there will be reproduced all the works selected in the Contest. The works that receive the first 3 (three) awards will stay being able irrevocably of the Foundation Directdoo, being part of his art gallery. The works rewarded in the fourth place will integrate the cultural heritage of the Group Banco Nación. This will not generate right to compensation or payment of any amount in favor of his author, beyond the total that will correspond to him for the received award. The authors of the prize-winning works will sign and/or realize all the acts that are necessary for the transfer of the mastery of the works to the Foundation Directdoo.

7th article. Exhibition of the works. All the chosen works will be exhibited in the National Lounge of Painting 2008 - Foundation Directdoo, in the Cultural center Borges, rooms 31 and 32 situated in Viamonte forms a corner with St Martin, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, from his opening on October 16 at 19:00, and until November 3, 2008. In the subsequent days, the exhibition schedule will be from Monday until Saturdays of 10:00 to 21:00 and on Sundays of 12:00 to 21:00. The day of opening of the sample, the authorities of the Foundation and the Jury of Premiación will do delivery of the corresponding awards, and she has left formally invite all the taking part artists of this Contest. The organizers reserve the right to realize later exhibitions with the prize-winning and/or chosen works. The authors of the chosen works transfer to the Foundation Directdoo, of exclusive form, the exhibition rights during the year 2009. The organizers reserve the right to reproduce without ends of lucre, the prize-winning and/or chosen works. The authors of the chosen works yield to the Foundation Directdoo, the rights of reproduction and diffusion in indeterminate time of the works in any place, format or support, without it implying the right to the fees payment and/or someone matters for the above mentioned concept.

8th article. Limitations and contingencies. The Foundation Directdoo and the Cultural center Borges will look over the good conservation of the presented works, but they will not take responsibility for the deterioration, destruction, loss, loss, break, theft or any other catastrophe that could happen for any cause. Any question not contemplated in this Regulation will be solved by the coordination of the Lounge, ad referendum of the decision that Directdoo adopts the Foundation. The alone fact of presenting before itself to choose for the benefits of the present Contest implies, on the part of the candidates, the knowledge and acceptance of all the norms established in this Regulation. He will not receive any tariff from himself for taking part in the Contest.
