Foundation Directdoo 2006

The FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA has resolved to organize the Third National Lounge of Painting, which basic target is to give the opportunity to exhibit works on topics that do to the culture and traditions of our country, with a federalist beginning, realized by artists representative of the different regions or Argentine provinces, instituting, to that end, the first, second and third award Acquisition (you act to the Art gallery of the Bank), five awards Stimulus and five Mentions of the Jury.


The contest will comprise the following stages:

(a) In each of the Provinces, and Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, across the Department, Secretariat or respective organism of Culture of his Governments, will realize a contest to select up to ten (10) works, for which there will sign a participation engagement agreement with the FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA.

(b) The works sent by the Provinces that fit to the present regulation will be exhibited in the Third National Lounge of Painting.

(c) Of the taking part works, the Jury of Honor will discern the instituted awards.

(d) The works will be exhibited in National Rooms of Exhibition Palais de Glace (mailing in charge of the Foundation Directdoo), from the day of the opening on August 3 at 19:30 hs., until August 27, 2006, in the schedule of 10,00 hs. to 20,00 hs. situated in the street Placed 1525 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.


I. I regulate

Topic. Representative of the region or Province.

(1) There will only be received original and unpublished works understood in all the expressions, inside the field of the painting, anyone be his skill.

(2) All the biggest eighteen (18)-year-old plastic artists will be able to take part.

(3) It will be admitted that only one acts for plastic artist, who will have to be representative of the tradition, culture, scenery and everything what has to do with the customs of the region or Province. The work will have to be accompanied by a photo color postal size of 0,13 x 0,18 cm,

(4) The following works will not be admitted:

(a) That overcome 1,40 meters (excluded the frame) in his horizontal side and 2,00 meters in the vertical one, and since minimal measurement will accept even of 0,80 x 1,00 mts.

(b) That had been exhibited in other Lounges.

(c) That will come spoiled or after conquered the term of reception.

(d) That will not fit to the topic specified in the point (3) of this Regulation.

(e) The anonymous ones and the copies.

(f) Of deceased artists.

(g) Of the artists who had obtained the first award in previous contests of the NATIONAL LOUNGE OF PAINTING FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA.

(5) The FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA and the National Rooms of Exhibitions will look over the good conservation of the presented works, but they will not take responsibility for the deterioration, destruction, loss, loss, break, theft or any other catastrophe that could happen for any cause.


II. Place and Date of Reception

The reference of the works presorted to take part in the Third National Lounge of Painting will have to fit to the following timetable:

(A) The deadline of presentation of the works will be fixed by the Secretariat of Culture of every Province (before May 20, 2006) in the place that every culture area determines. The work will have to be accompanied by a photo color postal size 0,13 x 0,18 cm, which will have to be framed perfectly in reason of which if it is selected by the jury that every Province designates, the same one will serve to reproduce it in catalog. Also, to the back of the work and of the photo, they will represent the following information: name of the work, measurements, skill, name and surname of the artist, domicile, phone and Province to which it represents. Before any doubt they will have to direct to the FOUNDATION for themselves BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA (Bartolomé Mitre 326, place 356, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, phones number (011) 4347-6277/6267 and (011) 4347-6280).

(B) The Secretaries of Culture of every Province will have to deliver the presorted works, last June 15, 2006 term, to the Companies the Transport Transfarmaco and GOOSE S.A. designated by the Foundation Directdoo, who will be in charge of sending it to Palais de Glace.


III. Selection, Exhibition and Retirement of Works

The works selected by the Juries of the different Provinces will be exhibited in Rooms of Exhibition Palais de Glace situated in the street Placed 1525 of the Autonomous City of Good, from his opening on August 3 at 19:30 hs. until August 27, 2006, in the schedule of 10,00 hs. to 20,00 hs. the subsequent days.

The organizers reserve the right to realize later exhibitions with the prize-winning and/or chosen works and/or to reproduce the same ones without lucre ends.

The chosen works that will be exhibited in Palais de Glace (mailing in charge of the Foundation Directdoo) will be able only to be withdrawn by the Companies Transport Transfarmaco and GOOSE S.A. designated by the Foundation Directdoo, who was in charge of sending it to the Secretariat of pertinent Culture.

He will not receive any tariff from himself for taking part in the contest.

For his part, the FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA will offer every participant a copy of the illustrated catalog of the sample, where all the chosen works are reproduced.

The participation in this National Lounge of Painting implies the acceptance of the respective Regulation.


IV. The Jury

The constitution of the Jury who will have to his charge the selection of the works in every Province will remain responsible for the same one, being able to appeal to the advice of the FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA if he was considering it to be necessary.

For the final selection and awarding of awards, the Jury of Honor will be shaped by five (5) members of recognized trajectory in the artistic ambience and a Healer designated by the FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA.

The FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA a stand-in will name in the Jury in case of unforeseen absence of some of his holders.
Of the performances of the Jury a record will be worked. Once signed by his members, the decisions that in the same one are recorded will be irrecurribles.


V. Awards

The following rewards will be granted:

The first Award (Acquisition): $ 15.000 weight, medal and diploma.

Segundo Premio (Acquisition):$ 10.000 weight, medal and diploma.

Third Award (Acquisition): $ 5.000 weight, medal and diploma.

Five (5) Awards Stimulus: medal and diploma.

Five (5) Mentions of the Jury: medal and diploma.


The Jury of Honor will pass the best set sample, in order to reward the Secretary of Culture with a digital photographic machine of last generation. Turning out to be a winner of the Lounge of Painting Foundation Banco de las Nación Argentina 2004 the Secretariat of Culture of the Province of Tucumán.

There will be delivered to every participant a diploma and a copy of the catalog in which there will be reproduced the works that take part in the contest. Also guests remain all the taking part artists formally to the opening of the sample on August 3, 2006 at 19:30 hs. in the Rooms of Exhibition Palais de Glace situated in the street Placed 1525 of the Autonomous City of Good.

Any question not contemplated in the Regulation will be solved by the Healer, ad referendum of the decision that there adopts the FOUNDATION BANK OF THE NATION ARGENTINA.
